Amazing! This has been the second time we're traveling with Dimitris. He is amazing host and captain. The boat is also great! We've seen marvellous places and have done a splendid snorkelling! He knows the island very well, and this is your perfect guide there! Do not have to mention the 5-star cuisines he is preparing by himself, like a real chef!!! Thank you so much Dimitris! Thassos Sailing - one "must have" experince This was the 3rd time in Thassos and we were looking for some new experiences. A friend told us to try sailing and recommended thassossailing.com. The trip is taking some hours (from 9 am to 16 pm) and you'll enjoy the east coast of Thassos island, this time from the sea, from the main harbor to Golden Beach. We have stopped several times (Marble beach was one stop) and enjoyed a coffee break then lunch and swimming around the boat in clear crystal waters! But, the most important thing was the captain of the boat, Dimitrios (or Dimitris, as you wish). He is the owner of this company and we owe to him such a beautiful experience. Can't wait to have another journey with him!!! Efharisto para poli Dimitris!

Loved this trip This was a lovely and relaxing way to spend an evening. We booked through our hotel earlier in the same day, and it was just us and one other couple. Our skipper Mike was great. So friendly, and told us lots of interesting things about the island. We stopped in some lovely places to swim, that were only accessible by boat, and enjoyed a glass of local wine as we headed straight into the sunset. 3 hours were over very quickly, would have loved to have done the full day tour too! Would definitely recommend this company.

Perfect evening I have to say that we (5 of us) had a perfect sunset boat trip and Pannos the skipper was friendly and informative about the island. We had an experienced sailing person with us and he was impressed with the whole experience as we were. Highly recommended!

Wonderful! We booked the 7 hour with our holiday rep Thomas cook . Was brilliant had a stop at marble beach and then a beach for snorkeling which was great! Then an hour stop at golden beach before our captain cooked us shrimp lunch - lovely. Finally a cheeky stop at emerald bay - beautiful spot and a great day with great hosts!

Wonderful trip and great value too Booked at Real Holidays office just 100 yds from Hotel Socrates, great value for money, skipper Mike was excellent and very informative. Beautiful coves and beaches, we stopped at 3 different ones to swim and snorkel. Included lunch (a baguette) and a coffee, water and 2 beers. Transferred by 4 x 4 from their office to Thassos town 20 mins. Set off at 9 am and back for 2 pm which was enough as got very hot by then. No waiting around. Well worth 52.50 Euros each all in. Ended up having the yacht to ourselves with another couple from our hotel. Highly recommend.

Excellent sailing experience We took the 7 hours trip and the experience was great. The captain Dimitris and his son were absolutely wonderful, very kind. We stopped at 3 beaches for swim and had a longer break at the third one for lunch, prepared by the captain. Dimitris did take an extra effort to drive us to Skala Prinou in order to catch our ferry back to Kavala, very much appreciated. I will recommend to anyone that I know and is interested in sailing.

Fabulous Day We took the 5 hour trip with Thassos Sailing and it was wonderful! The first 4 hours was sailing up the coast and 3 swim stops with a sandwich and a glass of wine provided for lunch. Then it was time to head back to Thassos town, engines off, sails up and a slow coast all the way back. By this point everyone was tired and relaxed and it was pretty silent short of the waves which was heaven. Captain Dimitris and his son were excellent hosts and plenty of fun and knowledge between them. One of the youngsters on board even had a go steering the boat. Honestly can’t recommend enough. For €45 each it was absolutely superb.
